Tara Home Care LLC – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

 

Welcome to Tara Home Care LLC. By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Definitions

      •     “Company” refers to Tara Home Care LLC, a senior home care agency providing non-       medical home care services.

      •     “Client” refers to the individual receiving care or their legal representative.

      •     “Caregiver” refers to the professional employed or contracted by Tara Home Care LLC to provide services.

​

3. Scope of Services

Tara Home Care LLC provides non-medical home care services, including but not limited to:

      •     Personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, hygiene)

      •     Companion care (conversation, social activities, meal preparation)

      •     Respite care for family caregivers

      •     Dementia and Alzheimer’s care

      •     Light housekeeping and errands

 

Note: Our caregivers do not provide medical or nursing services.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

      •     Provide a safe and healthy work environment for the Caregiver.

      •     Inform Tara Home Care LLC of any changes in the Client’s condition or care needs.

      •     Comply with all payment terms and notify Tara Home Care LLC in advance of any schedule changes or cancellations.

5. Payment Terms

      •     Rates: Service rates are determined based on the type of care provided and the hours required.

      •     Payment Schedule: Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt unless otherwise agreed upon.

      •     Late Payments: Payments not received within the stated period may incur a 5% late fee.

 

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

      •     Client-Initiated Cancellations: At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations to avoid a cancellation fee.

      •     Emergency Cancellations: Emergency cancellations are exempt from the 24-hour notice requirement.

      •     Refunds: Refunds are available if services are canceled in advance, with prorated refunds issued for unused services.

7. Caregiver Policies

      •     Scheduling & Availability: Tara Home Care LLC schedules caregivers based on client needs and caregiver availability.

      •     Substitution & Replacement: If a caregiver is unable to attend a scheduled shift, Tara Home Care LLC will make every effort to provide a suitable replacement.

      •     Code of Conduct: Caregivers are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and respect.

8. Confidentiality

Tara Home Care LLC maintains strict confidentiality regarding the Client’s personal and medical information, as required by law.

​

9. Limitation of Liability

Tara Home Care LLC will not be held liable for:

      •     Injuries or damages resulting from pre-existing health conditions.

      •     Accidents or incidents that occur outside of the caregiver’s control.

      •     Loss or damage to personal property unless caused by willful misconduct or negligence.

​

10. Termination of Services

      •     Client Termination: The Client may terminate services with a 7-day notice.

      •     Company Termination: Tara Home Care LLC reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of unsafe conditions, non-payment, or violation of terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

​

13. Amendments

Tara Home Care LLC reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any updates or changes.
